Our Founder
Stephanie Castagnier
Stephanie Castagnier founded Child Cause because of her overwhelming need to help kids affected by AIDS and poverty. Her mission is to help raise awareness, educate, assist prevention and motivate kids affected by AIDS, drugs, homelessness and poverty.
As an AIDS orphan having lost both parents at a young age and raised in a home with a father addicted to drugs, she has the compassion and understanding to reach out to kids from underprivileged surroundings.
Stephanie was able to overcome her childhood and went on to graduate from a highly ranked University and pursue a successful career in finance with a promise to herself that one day she would give back.
She currently lives in Chicago and is originally from Montreal. Our fundraising events are organized in both cities.
